Chambres d'Hôtes/Bed&Breakfast
La Madelène offers luxury chambres d'hotes in 5 beautifully restored and decorated bedrooms. There is a choice of single, twin or double rooms...the Chapel suite, the Venetian, the Grenache and Marie Cardinal rooms and the St.Benoit. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with high quality Starck fittings and an Italian style shower. The Furniture is an eclectic mixture of contemporary classics and Provencal antiques. Each bedroom has its own personality based on its history and position in the house, but they are all simply yet comfortably furnished with Egyptian cotton bedding and linen soft furnishings.
Guests can enjoy the roof terrace, the Chapel sitting room, the many terraces and lawns in the garden as well as the petanque pitch and the 11 x 5 m. pool open May - September.
A 4-course Provencal Table d'Hote meal is occasionally available in the evening...with 24 hours advance warning..at a supplement of 45 euros per person. The meal includes excellent local Cotes du Ventoux wines from our neighbour's Domaine. Guests wishing to eat out can choose from many very good local restaurants..we will advise and make your booking for you.
There is wi-fi internet access and even a space to work...in our wine teaching atelier! If you wish to have a full body massage we can arrange one at the house on Sundays and Mondays only at a price of €60 per hour
Please note : Prices in brackets are our low season rates 1st January - 31st March and 1st November - 31st December.
Conditions etc: Rates vary according to room/season/occupancy level, between 100 and 170 euros per room per night. Minimum 2 night stay. Payment: By cheque in euros or cash or bank transfer please - I will send you details of our account. Due to high bank fees we have to charge a supplement of €4 per €100 booking value for those guests who use Paypal or pay us by credit card. Those wanting to pay by Paypal or credit card can do so via the Payments section of this site- we do not have a facility to take card payments at the house. Please note that earliest arrival time is 3pm, if you'd like to arrive earlier let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Departure: by 11am.
